09/20/2005I had the pleasure of accompanying our 7th grade class to your museum last week. I was so pleased with our students' behavior, but more so impressed by their attentiveness during the interviews with the veterans. As I told you, I think the experience of interviewing the veterans may have a bigger impact on the students than any course in history could offer. Hearing of the experiences and stories the veterans told brings "history alive" for the students....
